Proposed ELA Curricula Open for Public Review

Yuma School District One invites staff, students, families and community members to review the proposed English Language Arts (ELA) curricula for kindergarten through eighth grade, now through December 8, 2026. Following an extensive review process, district adoption committees recommended the following programs:

Grades K - 5: HMH Into Reading - Recommended based on the committee’s review of instructional materials, student learning experiences, teacher support and usability, along with feedback from classroom teachers.

Grades 6 - 8: Savvas myPerspectives - Recommended for its engaging and relevant reading selections and instructional resources.
